What we collect
- What you enter in our quote form: name, phone number, email, postcode, the type of work and any details you add.
- If you accept cookies: information about how you reached and used the site, collected by Google Analytics and Google Ads.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, quote and carry out work. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
- To keep records we are required to keep, such as certificates and invoices. The lawful basis is legal obligation.
- To measure which adverts bring enquiries, only with your consent.
Who we share it with
Our website host and form provider (Netlify), Google (only if you accept cookies), our accountants, and scheme bodies such as Gas Safe Register or NICEIC where the law or scheme rules require it. We don't sell your information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become jobs are deleted after 12 months. Customer and job records, including certificates, are kept for as long as the law, our scheme bodies and our insurers require.
Cookies
No analytics or advertising cookies are set unless you click Accept. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@maelectricals.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
